THE EMPTY SHOP: A UK
FIRST FOR MANCHESTER

Based on a pioneering idea in Brazil, the project is the first of its kind in the UK, inviting local people to bring their pre-loved items of clothing to be styled-up each day by brands, bloggers and stylists to create a unique shop display. All those who donated were featured on the donor wall as a polaroid, which was built over the period the event lasted to show the progress and inspire people to combine their love of fashion and charity to help those in need.

“We’d like to give a very big thank you to
everyone who took part in this fabulously
planned, organized and delivered innovative
project. The resulting donations of clothing will give
us the opportunity to offer immediate relief to people
in need, as well as much needed resources to drive
